Repeat after me

You do NOT need any rhyme or any reason to get couples photos done. It doesn't always require a ring, a baby-filled belly, or any major life event. Sometimes you just gotta make out with each others face-holes & let me watch. Ok--so maybe when you say it that way it's weird--but really. Through life, through seasons, through busy lives we just don't always give relationships over-and-above attention. I have a big phrase I repeat over and over again and that's

"Maybe you dont. But, what if you--did."

Maybe you don't take the time to just fall in love all over again just because it's a Tuesday. Maybe you don't run around your backyard and just be as feral as you once were (minus the waking up in a field with no shoes on--we can leave that in 2012), but what if you did? Maybe you don't take shots on the floor of your kitchen with each other & then dance in your living room--but what if you did?

What if we did the things we tend to need reason or some version of permission to do. That dinner, a movie, a museum, a by all history we know tells us--the 'right' way to have a date night. But what if we took our already existing (or maybe needs a little sparky spark) love for each other & leveled up the way that looks. The way that feels. The way that can exist. This is the reminder that whether any, all, or no reason at all--that it's okay if you don't

but, what if you--did.
